Who We are
Thanks for visiting sewguide.com. For us your privacy is important. We WILL NEVER sell your information to anyone.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties any of your personal information (name, email address) we may have collected through your voluntary confirmation.
This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, no personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
How are personal data collected
When you subscribe to our newsletter we collect your name (only when provided) and your email address so that we can correspond with you.
Your personal data will not only be stored in the website’s database but also in the applications we use to send our newsletters and campaign.
2. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track visitors on this site.
In order to be compliant with the new regulation, Google included a data processing amendment.
The data we collect will be processed anonymously and “Data sharing” is disabled.
We don’t use other Google services in combination with Google Analytics cookies
3 Email service
The newsletters are sent to you through third party email marketing sites, who have agreed with us to keep the data confidential
If at any point in time you do not want the newsletter there will be an option on the newsletter to unsubscribe. We will be sorry to see you go, but your right to privacy is more important to us
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service; this is to prevent spam comments clogging the system and rendering the website unusable.
How long do we retain the data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue
If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes..
